Monochrome Africa

The entrance to the "Africa" exhibit at the Oregon Zoo. I thought it would look interesting in B&W.

Can Ya Dig It?

Only Oregonians and Washingtonians would spend 3 hours in the cold, 30 mph wind, and pouring rain, digging holes in the sand for pleasure :)

Fun with Mirrors

This was the best out of the series of photos I took. It looks good, but it's still a little fuzzy, especially when enlarged. I like how she's looking at me through the mirror. I'll have to give it another go and see if I can get some more. There's also another shot/trick I'd like to try with mirrors, but I have to find the right mirror set up in order to get it...We shall see.

Ruby Tuesday

This is an older photo, but one of my favorites...this is my little sister-in-law Mia at our wedding in 2006.

An interesting effect...

I was messing with some of the manual settings on my camera, and I got some interesting pictures of the sky at the coast. Mostly, I love the ways the clouds came out. I just pushed buttons...maybe I'll learn how to actually use the manual settings eventually! There's a girl at work who said she would teach me, so wish me luck! :)
